The vodafone mobile broadband software that controls the vodem sticks has to be the worst around. On a regular basis (ie atleast once a week) someone brings in there pc with a vodem problem. The most current one seems to be that the software has corrupted and is beyond repair. Upon launching it you are greeted with "MobileBroadband has encounted a problem". Uninstalling it, removing any instances of the usb device in the registry and reinstalling the latest version of the software doesn't help. I've had to reload a few machines lately because i can't for the life of me get it going again.. Has anyone successfully resurrected it? Edit: Plugging said usb stick into another machine works.. Also once the problem machine is reloaded the mobile broadband software is happy again.
