Fibre Transfer Process

Hi

I am in the process of switching from 2degrees to Vodafone, I currently have a 100/20 fibre connection and am transferring to the same. I have received my install / transfer date in an email but the process is a little vague.

I phoned the customer services team, but the person on the phone has not filled me with much confidence -

* Do I need to cancel things with 2Degrees or does vodafone do that?

* The customer service rep said I needed to be at home doe the change in wiring? When I explained that fibre is already at the house, she then said it would just be a modem swap? Which is it?

I am somewhat nervous now as looking at the date, its the day before Easter. Life would not be worth living if our 2 teenagers were without any internet service for the long weekend so I really want this to go smoothly.

Has anyone here been through an ISP transfer, is it "fool proof" or am I justified in being nervous
