Does my connection speeds sound right to you?Living a bit more rural we found out that its a mini exchange, and as more people got connected then we noticed the congestion and speeds dropping.However early mornings we could get over 5Mbps+ and during the day around 3Mbps, and lower at nights it would be 1.5-2Mbps. Something we just got used to living with.Last week due to road works taking place they dug up the line so we lost connection for almost a week. It got repaired but now all we can get is 0.5-1Mbps and this is ALL the time, no matter how early I get up to test it it will never go over 1Mbps.Contacted Vodafone who logged a fault but Chorus has come back and the response is, that its due to congestion so there is nothing wrong.Seriously????Just seems since the repair its capped or something or something related to the repair work??Any options I can take, otherwise I'm going to sign up to another providers wireless service and at least get something half decent.
