I have a huge mystery data usage on my Telstra/Vodafone cable usage meter, and a surge of emails from Vodafone overnight on Monday morning. I was working 15 hour days on Sunday and Monday, only home to sleep; my wife was out half of each day and wouldn't know where to start eating through 150Gb of data if she tried. Is it even possible to download 150Gb in 24 hours??My wife phoned Vodafone and was assured there was no way we could have used that data and an investigation would result in the charge being reversed. Well the investigation came back saying that "the usage in question is valid". I phoned to get to the bottom of it and the call centre staff member was no help, rather he was accusatory to the point of being offensive until I asked to speak to someone else, which he refused.I've attached an image of the usage meter. When I look at Sunday and Monday in detail (not attached) it looks like it could actuallly be exactly 150gb from 6pm Sunday - 6pm Monday. What could cause this? There's only one computer attached to the network that could hold 150gb (the phones etc certainly couldn't) and upon checking it there's only 50gb of 'stuff' on it. The wireless is secure (strong password with letters and numbers and the neighbours certainly don't know it)!Adding up my previous 5 months usage combined comes to about 160Gb, Vodafone are saying we're over 190Gb this month alone! What's going on?
