Last week an elderly couples Telstaclear Homeplan was changed over to the "new" Vodadone network. They are on dialup, and since the changeover one PC now connects at 24k and their other PC won't connect at all, before this they were getting 48-52k speeds on both PCs/Modems. Their son-in-law spent a couple of hours on the phone on their behalf and Vodafone did 'line tests', etc, and said there's nothing wrong. Any suggestions for the next step? (For whatever reason, broadband is not an option for these folks). The half than normal connection speed is hopeless as he can't browse any webpages or get his email without timing out.
