Fixed Broadband Connection Dropping out

Hi,I've been having some issues with my connection dropping out for the last few weeks, it usually reconnects within a minute, but trying to find what the problem is. Haven't had any problems like this before.Setup - Central Splitter installed by ihug/vodafone several years ago.Netgear N300 Wireless Dual Band ADSL2+ Modem Router - model DGND3300v21 computer running windows XP (ethernet connected)1 computer running windows 8 (wifi connected)1 samsung galaxy S2 (wifi)I'm thinking the problem is outside the house, my best guess it is related to Chorus recently replacing our phone line as it was going through trees (on council land), they put a whole new lamppost and phone line in.Connection speeds have been worse since the phone line was replaced, it used to consistently connect at around 20Mb Down, 1 Mb Up. It still usually connects at around that but sometimes, especially right after its dropped out it will connect at something like 5Mb Down, 0.5Mb Up.On speed tests we used to get about 8Mb/s sometimes up to 12Mb/sNow we usually get around 5Mb/s but sometimes up to 8Mb/sWe also had Fibre installed on our street recently (Lees st, Dunedin). The connection seems to be fine in off-peak times, drop-outs almost exclusively happening in the evenings during the week, and in the weekend. For that reason I doubt it's my modem but am trying to find another one to test just to be sure.In the router logs the disconnections were usually accompanied with a 'LCP Down' messageBut just checking now (it only shows the last day) there is not one of those messages.here is the log from this morning (It dropped out at around 10am for a couple of minutes):Sat, 2013-03-02 09:01:50 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 09:08:16 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 09:18:39 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 09:28:30 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 09:38:17 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 09:48:14 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 09:58:21 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 10:00:55 - UDP Packet - Source:98.137.1.70,3479 Destination:27.252.207.200,57333 - [DOS]Sat, 2013-03-02 10:01:14 - Administrator login failure - IP:192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 10:01:15 - Administrator admin login successful - IP:192.168.0.3Sat, 2013-03-02 10:04:06 - DHCP server received REQUEST from D8:57:EF:22:27:A9The only 'mention' of the dropouts in the logs seem to be the 'DHCP server received REQUEST' (I presume that's it reconnecting). When it dropped out today I logged into the modem and it said 'Modem Status: Negotiating' before going back to Connected after a couple of minutes. There were a few dropouts last night as well:Fri, 2013-03-01 22:28:19 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 22:37:11 - DHCP server received REQUEST from D8:57:EF:22:27:A9Fri, 2013-03-01 22:37:23 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 22:38:42 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 22:48:32 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 22:58:35 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 23:08:14 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 23:18:44 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 23:28:30 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 23:38:21 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 23:43:50 - DHCP server received REQUEST from D8:57:EF:22:27:A9Fri, 2013-03-01 23:44:05 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Fri, 2013-03-01 23:47:40 - DHCP server received REQUEST from D8:57:EF:22:27:A9Fri, 2013-03-01 23:48:07 - [UPnP set event:Teredo] from source 192.168.0.3Does anyone know what the '[UPnP set event:Teredo]' messages are that seem to be happening every 10 minutes? They are coming from the windows 8 machine, and I know they have something to do with IPv6, but could they be causing a problem?Windows 8 was installed recently, is there something about that that could be causing the problem ?I talked to Vodafone support, that couldn't really offer much help other than saying try a different modem, and we can send out a chorus tech, but if its your fault it'll be $140...So basically just trying to make sure its not a problem inside the house, so posting here hoping for some suggestions/adviceIf you read all that, I thank you :)
