What to do when you're going over data every month

I've been living on a measly 500MB of monthly data for quite some time and often going over.

I resorted to turning off my mobile data and only turning it on when I needed.

I decided to look around and found 2 Degrees offering 1GB for the same price.

Loathe to change phone companies I rang Vodafone to ask if they'd just top me up to 1GB and not charge me anymore.

They offered 1.5GB per month for me to stay, or 4GB a month plus unlimited calls for an extra $10.

I took the second option.

Always worth asking for a better deal if you feel like changing networks.
