Vodafone Cable customers to Fibre network?

I have been with Vodafone for years and the last two years on the old warspeed/ 100mbps Up / 10 mbps downstream Cable network service

and am looking at upgrading to Fibre so I can take advantage of the faster upstream speeds at 20mbps and because I am streaming live video feeds off shore to the USA all the speed helps =)

Is it true that Cable customers will not be offered Fibre connection even if its available in the area ( main priority for me is connection and speed for upstreaming live video feed to the USA )
