So just went to the old mans house today, He wanted to sign up to Netflix, helped him out and checked his plan.Thought I should change his broadband plan to unlimited now as it pretty reasonable priced and makes sense if a few people in the house will be using Netflix now.The current price online for unlimited ADSL with phone line is $99. I cant see mention that this price is only for new customers. When I spoke the CSR he could only offer unlimited to the old man for $105 as he is existing and not entitled to new pricing.Is this correct? I completely under stand not getting new hardware or other "free" perks if you sign up as a new customer, but surely the price is the same for everyone?I know its only $6 but I don't see the mention of this, and the principle of charging different depending on new Vs old is one way to really make the old customers look else where...... Food for thought.Rant over :-)
