Can anyone tell me with regards to a house in Christchurch on the Vodafone cable network that has a female f-connector on the wall previously installed by Telstra. Is it possible to plug a digital ready TV into it and tune into Freeview without the need for a Terrestrial aerial?I notice that Vodafone now have plans where you can get a freeview box with certain broadband plans, but I wasn't able to ascertain whether they encrypt the signal if it is indeed transmitted over the network so that it can only be used with their own box, or if they stream the channels to the box via the internet. Well I hope this makes sense, thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give me.
