Hi, I just set up my Huawei HG556a for VOIP with 2Talk, but had problems dialling out. It ended up the issue was the digit map and thought I would share with others. To setup your Huawei HG556a follow instructions on 2Talks site per this link:-http://www.2talk.co.nz/supportview.html?doc=hg556a Log back into modem, select Voice, Phone and replace Digit Map field with this:-0[3-9]xxxxxxx|[3-9]xxxxxx|111|*x.#|x.#|*x.T|x.TSave and Reboot for change to take affect.This digit map immediately dials local numbers, national numbers, emergency number, numbers ending with # and dials all other numbers after 3 second timeout. Hope this is helpful for somebody.
